Player Code of Conduct – DJ Bingo

1. Definitions

1.1 The following terms shall have the following respective meaning for all purposes of the rules, such meaning to be equally applicable to the singular and plural forms thereof. By partaking/spectating at any DJ Bingo event, players fully accept all the terms and conditions contained in the Player Code of Conduct.
1.2 “DJ Bingo”, “Music Bingo”, or “event” refers to the DJ Bingo event that these rules apply to.
1.3 “Player” and “Member” shall mean any individual person playing in any one of our music bingo events who is playing by themselves, part of a larger table of players, or as a spectator.
1.4 “Line of Three”, “Four Corners” or “Full House” shall mean the measurement by which overall prize winners are determined.
1.5 “Bingo Night” shall refer to any of our regular or special quiz events.

2. Arbitration

2.1 The DJ Bingo Mix Master that is running an event will attempt to regulate any scenario that arises, however there may occasionally be times in which a decision will require an unbiased independent third party in regard to player behaviour and resulting penalties. In these cases, The DJ Bingo Manager will be the arbitrator of these decisions and can be contacted via email on feedback@DJBingo.com.au. Once the DJ Bingo Manager has listened to the dispute in question and all pertaining details, a binding, non-negotiable decision will be made.

3. Ethics and Moral Code

3.1 All music bingo players and bystanders must abide by the DJ Bingo rules. While all events have prizes that can be won, our main goal will always be the pursuit of social and entertaining music bingo event in a fun and fair environment. Players must always remember to treat each other, as well as all music bingo activities and representatives, with the utmost respect.
3.2 Any major breach of the player code of conduct will result in the suspension of one or all of the players in question, and the ineligibility to participate or be a spectator in any further weekly or special event. Any suspended player/team must apply in writing to feedback@DJBingo.com.au to have their suspension reviewed.

4. The Rules

4.1 Any ruling made by any Mix Master, Supervisor or DJ Bingo representative is final and binding. All decisions will be made with the fairness of the competition in mind and impartial judgement.

5. Declaration of Winners

5.1 Mix Masters will outline the rules of the game at the beginning of the event. It will be the task of the player(s) who have completed their Line of Three, Four Corners or Full House of musical artists to call ‘BINGO’ in line with these rules. Players will then be required to present their music card to the Mix Master for on-screen verification.
5.2 Winners will be limited to one per line of three and/or four corners and one per full house unless otherwise stated by the Mix Master.
5.3 Players can declare a bingo for a Line of Three, Four Corners or Full House before the artist is revealed onscreen.
5.4 It will be the discretion of the Mix Master to select a winning player if two or more players declare bingo at the same time. This will be determined by a ‘fastest first’ approach or, in the event that the fastest call cannot be determined, a tie breaker game of the Mix Master’s choice.
5.5 At all times, the choice for bonus prize or additional bingo card allocation – and participation in any games for the award of such bonuses – is at the discretion of the Mix Master running the event.
5.6 Bonus cards and prizes are transferrable to another player.

6. Prizes

6.1 Prizes can be awarded for a number of different activities and at all times are at the discretion of the Mix Master running the event.
6.2 Any prize awarded in voucher form will have an expiry date and no extensions will be given.
6.3 All prizes are subject to conditions, these are at the discretion of the venue where the prize was awarded, and/or at the discretion of the Mix Master running the show.
6.4 Unless otherwise noted, all prizes are supplied by DJ Bingo venues and are the discretion of the venue.
6.5 Prize amount/details can be changed at any time at the discretion of the venue and/or Mix Master running the show.
6.6 Immediate family members of the Mix Masters as well as any on- or off-duty venue staff will not be eligible for prizes during the event.

7. Unwanted Behaviour

7.1 Members, Players and spectators who continually and seemingly intentionally aggravate, annoy, intimidate or harass other players, venue staff or Mix Masters may be asked to leave the music bingo event area, forfeiting any and all prizes on the night.
7.2 Should the Mix Master deem it necessary, Members, Players and spectators exhibiting unwanted behaviour may be issued a Behavioural Conduct Reminder (BCR), outlining their expected conduct, and warning that continued unwanted behaviour may lead to them being suspended from participating in any DJ Bingo or Entain Venues-affiliated event for a set amount of time.
7.3 Players who intentionally have a negative effect on the business of Entain Venues including InnQUIZitive, DJ Bingo and QuizzaMe may be suspended from playing in any DJ Bingo events.
7.4 Players who run a competing business may be asked to leave the music bingo area and could be suspended from participating in any DJ Bingo events if seen to be a conflict of interest.
7.5 Players who have been suspended and continue their negative effect on the business; continue to harass, annoy, aggravate or intimidate players, venue staff or Mix Masters during their suspension may be permanently banned from playing DJ Bingo or affiliated events.

8. Music Bingo Cards

DJ Bingo is a fun, social event and is played individually. Participants are permitted to sit with friends/colleagues/family at the same table. In order to ensure that the game is played fairly:
8.1 Players will start the music bingo event with one music bingo card per player
8.2 Opportunities to receive bonus music bingo cards will potentially available during the event.
8.3 Mix Masters will make common sense decisions regarding giving a player another music bingo card
8.4 Children are permitted to receive a music bingo card and may join the music bingo event under correct adult supervision.
8.5 In the event of multiple children being present at a table, the Mix Master may determine how many may receive a music bingo card so as to maintain a level of fairness and inclusion.

9. Mix Masters

9.1 Mix Masters are ineligible to win any prizes during a DJ Bingo event, tournament or special event.
9.2 Mix Masters are not to help players at any time (even if not hosting) and if they do, those players may be ineligible to win prizes.
9.3 At times, Mix Masters that are unavailable for any reason will be replaced with another Mix Master.
9.4 At all times, the decision made by the Mix Master running a music bingo event is final.
